Lil Sis Turns One!
I was very excited for my sister's birthday. We travelled all the way to TX just to celebrate! I decided weeks before the big day that J should have a Bunny cake and that I would help to decorate it. M and Nana were happy for the help.
Little cousin Emily was curious to see what she might expect this coming August.
Here are the finished products. So yummy!
Here is a portion of the assembled throng and their rousing rendition of "Happy Birthday".
Many thanks to everyone for joining in the fun! It was great to have so many Dallas and Houston relatives there!
And, to top it all off, J decided to start walking on the next day! I like saying that we went on vacation with a baby, and came back home with a walking-one-year-old!

So, what's the deal with June's age thingy? Driving a tactor through the ocean towards a whale? Looks like she's going to get eaten in about 5 months!
This is wonderful to see and remember! What fun to see our baby Junie become one-year-old Junie ... and help big, big sister create her delicious bunny cakes! I'm so glad we were all together, and I'm so glad for these wonderful pictures and videos to relive it all again!
