The Big Time!

Pretty summer weather has brought lots of opportunities for outdoor fun. Mostly I watch carefully and take notes for next summer...



Big Sister loves fountains and sprinklers. They'll probably play a prominent role in Birthday celebrations.



Hiking - usually a good time for all, but clearly more work for some.



Gardening - our lettuce, strawberries, and peas look yummy (I wouldn't know how they taste since you can't puree lettuce. I do eat bananas, cereal, carrots, peaches, apples, and avocado). I try to remind everyone to water the garden this year! - what would they do without me?? Big Sister found some friendly Ladybugs in our willow tree and was very brave about letting them walk on her.



I direct my energy towards being vertical as much as possible.



It's a good thing too, because M & D have had their hands full helping Big Sister the past few days. She's been honing her potty-using skills and we're all very proud of her not to mention excited and relieved. Here I am cheering her from a jump seat at Ikea.
