Dance to the Music

It's hard to capture me in my natural state - constant motion. Also, as soon as the camera comes out, I drop what I'm doing and try to grab it. Well, leave it to Havalina to rock out hard enough for me to keep dancing with the camera rolling.

(You might see D's fancy footwork in the background, and you can infer M's by the cinematography.)

Check out my Fashion Sense

Oh yes, those are stripped lime green capri's I'm wearing over my blue fleece pajamas. Scoff if you will but I tell you it will be all over Gymboree this Spring. In any case, I was insistent on the additional pants. And they didn't seem to impede my sleeping. I logged 8 hours straight in my crib before even stirring and that was with 4-8 new teeth poking through - may not sound great to other toddlers, but it's a record for me. (I think it was the pants)

So Stylish

Recently I've been very interested in Mom's hairbands (hah-pan). Today she gave me one and this is what I did with it - all by myself!

Weekend Adventures

Saturday we went downtown to Powell's Bookstore. It's the largest independent bookstore in the country and has a great children's section. Here I am reading about dogs with Dad.

I got a new book called 'Give me Grace' that has little prayers for each day. They are very sweet. Also they rhyme and have colorful pictures that go along with them so I really like to read them. At the end of the book I say 'Amen'. It's a nice way for Mom to start the day too.

After Powell's we went to the Zoo for lunch and to see the animals. My favorite animal by far was the Otter. I still talk about how he was splashing and swimming in the water and about his ball. I also liked the bears, elephants, and big cats. Here I am horsing around with Mom by the Orangutans. I was very impressed with their hair. They weren't so impressed with me.

Sunday after church we went to the Japanese Garden. It's near the Zoo in a lovely park-like setting. They were celebrating the Japanese New Year so I got to try some yummy crackers. I also liked running around with the other kids. The rocks made a fun sound under my feet and I liked the challenge of walking over different types of stones.

Holiday Glee

I brought a bug home from TX. It's taken me a while to kick, but I think I'm on the mend now. Still, as you can see, I enjoyed myself over Christmas.
