Acony's First Thanksgiving

Wow! What a holiday Thanksgiving was. I had a great time seeing lots of Mom's family. It was tons of fun to play with her cousins...her uncle taught me about red plastic cups...
and I got to meet my Great-Grandmother Valerio!
That's the three generations of wonderful women who preceeded me. Wow, again!


Oh yeah, and there was some awesome food. I gnawed my way through part of this turkey leg pretty quickly.

Three-Months Old!

A Bonfire

Out at Linvilla Orchards, besides all the great apple picking they do, you can take a hayride and enjoy a bonfire afterwards. We went with bunch of my folks' friends and my good buddy Martin.

Halloween Parade around Clark Park

For Halloween, we pulled the leopard costume out of the wash and met Marty-the-tiger for a kid's parade in our neighborhood. It was pretty exciting to see how many kids there were!

There was even a little drum band that led us around. It...put......me.........to............sleep.................

As soon as they stopped, I woke up, much to my mother's amusement.
After the parade, we walked around the city some more and decided to have dinner and Marty's place. It was so nice there, it put me right to sleep...with Marty's cat Bo!

Everyone Says I Look Like Dad...

...and somehow, in anticipation of that, some friends of my parents whom I have not yet met, gave me a flannel jacket, because dad loves to wear flannel. What do you think? Do we look alike?

A Trip to the Big Apple with the Big Babies

At the end of October, my friend Martin and our parents took a trip to New York City. It all began with an early morning train ride.


We stopped in at the hotel for a quick change into our costumes. We were hoping to join some other children in a parade in Central Park. Martin was dressed as a tiger and I had on my leopard costume.

We took a long walk through the city, missed some weird weekend subway closures postings, so we didn't get to the park in time for the parade. But it was a lovely fall day and we enjoyed all of the scenery in the park and the city.

From our recent trip to NYC and Halloween...

A Visit by Nana Sue, Poppi, and Uncle Jon

My Nana Sue, Poppi, and Uncle Jon all came to visit two weekends ago. It was great to have them all here. I showed Poppi some of my favorite ceiling fans,



read one of my favorite books with Uncle Jon,



and spent some special time with Nana in Clark Park.



As you can see, it was cold that weekend. I stayed bundled up in a hat and sweater that Mom knit for me.



They came to my dedication at church.



Also, some other folks came, too - including my friend Martin and his parents!



And to cap off the weekend, we had some steaks from Geno's in the freezing wind.






(I got to stay wrapped up in a blanket, to keep warm.)

Grandmom Comes to Visit

A few Sundays ago, Grandmom Johnson came to visit. We had a lovely lunch at the DiBruno Brothers near Rittenhouse Square.

And check out these flowers at all the tables!

Then we took a nice walk around town, doing some shopping along the way. Here we are near City Hall, all bundled up.

The Wedding Crasher

My second wedding was not so far away as the first - it was just over the bridge in Jersey. One of Dad's co-workers was getting married, so we got all dressed up.

The ceremony was nice, but we really got down at the reception. I enjoyed boogying to "Love Shack" with some of Dad's co-workers.

Working and Flying

Dad gets to work at home on Tuesdays, and sometimes he needs my help.



After a hard day's work, I unwind with Mom.



On this day, she was teaching me to fly!
