Happy Halloween!

Ah Halloween; what's not to love?! The highlight for Wug's was pumpkin carving...perhaps because Dad-o let her have free reign with the "guts".

I thought the finished products were quite nice, especially with a pink flower in their "ear".

This was the first year I truly appreciated what it means to trick-or-treat. I got to go twice! I went once around the neighborhood with a neighbor (we gave each other a lot of moral support when it came to actually saying "trick-or-treat"!).

J looked on approvingly.

Then with some pals...it's hard to get four preschoolers to pose pre-candy collecting...

...and it's hard to get their little sisters to pose anytime!

Yes, for one glorious night I sampled more candies than I knew the names of. The winner: lollipops. Tomorrow we are going to see Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. Perhaps as a result of Halloween I've been a bit enamored with this story. Yesterday I told Mom I wanted to visit a Chocolate Factory and that I'd be a very good listener (unlike the unfortunate children in the story). So Willy Wonka, if you're out there...

P.S. Isn't little sister's overbite smile excellent?
