Under Construction
As you may know, Mom and Dad are planning this nutty move across the country. (Contact them directly for details, I try to stay out of it!). Because of all this madness, I haven't been able to blog as much as I like. It's not all boxes and packing tape. We've been out and about trying to bid farewell to family and friends.
We went to The Birth Center one last time to say goodbye to all the babies from Mom and Dad's birth class. Look at those handsome fellas! (This is also where Samuel Justice was just born!)
And we had an evening in Collegeville saying goodbye to lots of Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and Grandmas. We're still waiting for the group picture so check back.
We also took in some culture at the Philly Art Museum. We had a picnic with Bruce and his parents and took some nice walks around the grounds. Bruce liked the knights and Armour gallery (which I mostly slept through) and I liked stealing Bruce's stroller and taking it for a spin around the Modern Art gallery. Dad let me go super fast in circles around everyone. I loved it and kicked my feet to make my ride go faster.
Bruce and Martin (and family) met us for lunch at Cereality on Thursday. Bruce is so lucky. He's a year and a half so he gets to eat pretty much what he wants...chocolate, malt balls, fruit loops...Martin and I had to eat apples and bananas. (Any of you blogger-savvy folks out there know how to rotate these darn pictures? They're right way up in iPhoto!)
Our Thursday night friends had a good-bye get together too: lots of delicious Mexican food and encouraging words. I love those guys! They always make me laugh. Again, photo forthcoming.
That's the skinny on the Philly move. Once life calms down a bit I'll have more time to update my blog. Until then, you can be pretty well assured that we're either packing, hanging out with pals, sleeping, or staring at a map of the U.S. and shaking our heads at the trip ahead. I can't wait!
