2012 Review: April

April means Easter and we were excited for egg hunts!

And spring gives us energy for crazies!

We helped Packy celebrate his 50th birthday.

Big Sis got to dissect an owl pellet in her kindergarten class.

And Lil Sis helped put together our new grill...while trike-ing, of course.

2012 Review: March

In March, we had visits from both of our Grandmothers!  That made for a busy month, so this will be mostly pictures with less yackety-yack.  Let's get right to it!

First, Grandma visited.  We had lots of fun in Salem (carousel), Portland (zoo), and Seattle (aquarium).

Then, there was some down time at home for making cinnamon rolls, snow angels, snow chickens, and playing on the co-op playground.

At the end of the month, Nana visited!  More fun…back to Salem (Enchanted Forest) and Easter decorations!

2012 Review: February

In February, Big Sis was the first in her class to read 15 Piggy and Gerald books. 

She brought them home for a weekend, and boy did they have fun with us!  We gave them clothes...

... and their own food at meals!

Our third chicken, Muffin, finally started laying eggs.  They are greenish-blue.

And we did a bit of snow shoeing up on Mt. Hood.

2012 Review: January

Martin visited from Seattle.

We did crafts with our friends.  Me and Lucia made a wooden bunny at school.  I gave the bunny to Lucia.  Little Sister painted a pot.

Me and Francesca danced with kickboards while dressed up in ballet clothes.

We got piddly Portland snow.  We let the chickens out and they played in the snow.

Lil Sis was silly wearing M's boots.

We liked making pasta.  We helped Mom with it and liked turning the crank.

 

We are at the Chinese Garden for the Chinese New Year.  Big Sis is excited and so is Lil Sis!  Our friends came with us.
