End-of-Season Beach Trip
Though it is September, and we were visiting the often blustery OR Coast, we had a surprisingly lovely time at the Beach last week. The weather was wonderful. The company was lively. Junie only ate moderate amounts of sand. I had lots of pals to make sand-castles with.
June spent most of her time at the Beach being carried, though she did get a few glorious free-range moments, which she made the most of.
I persuaded Dad-o to carry me alot too, especially at times like these.
Back at the house the babies showed off their locomotive skills while the bigger kids played board games. (The grown-ups had fun too)
Thanks to friends for joining us in our hair-brained September adventure. Next year, same time, same place?
P.S. I started Preschool a few weeks ago and have been bringing home loads of artwork and stories. Here I am on my first day of school looking ready-for-anything.
